Things to Say When I See You in Person
August 2025, The Water Rats
After a successful tryout at the 2024 Act 2 Springboard Festival (⭑⭑⭑⭑Everything Theatre), Things to Say When I See You in Person is back at Camden Fringe 2025 as a 90-minute full version.
It’s 2003. Late nights, pixelated video calls, faxing nudes- this is what Faith, an eclectic artist, has to do for the next six months in London since Roman, her boyfriend of three years, seized the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of joining Doctors Without Borders in Africa. Despite their anxieties. Faith and Roman believe they would survive anything together. But distance doesn’t make the heart grow fonder. As new friendships form and old insecurities surface, they find themselves holding back when they both have so much to say. With six months stretching endlessly ahead, Faith and Roman must confront the question neither wants to ask: Is love enough to survive distance?
